G.I. JOE is directed by Steven Sommers (The Mummy, Van Helsing)and the story adapts from Hasbro G.I. Joe toy line with this Paramount Pictures production that pits the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity against the evil forces of the organization known as Cobra.
Duke Hauser (Channing Tatum) is a captain of an elite army whose job is to protect a sophisticated weapon called nanotech along with his loyal partner Ripcord (Marlon Wayans). On an ambush Duke meets Baroness which happens to be his ex-fiancee. Then Duke gets help from G.I.Joe team consists of Scarlett (Rachel Nichols), Snake Eyes (Ray Park), Breaker (Said Taghmaoui) and Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) under General Hawk (Dennis Quaid) leadership. Together they try to defeat the evil force lead by the Doctor (Joseph Gordon-Levitt).
This movie is really an action movie. Worthy to be watched by those who love war and fighting scene. Two thumbs for it.
